WIND : SE 05 to 15 in the south-east at first, otherwise E to NE 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 35 in the west and north-west. It will become W to SW 10 to 15 in the south-west during the second half of the period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places, except in the north- west where it will be very poor in fog until mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the extreme north and north-east with E swell but with NE swell in the west and north-west.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : SE to E 15 to 25, reaching 30 in the south, but NE 15 to 25 in the south-west, reaching 30 to 35 in the extreme south-west.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m, with SE swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : Cyclonic 10 to 20 in the west, otherwise N to NW 05 to 15, but SE to E 15 to 25 in the south.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers.
MADAGASCAR EAST (10S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : SE to E 05 to 15 in the north, otherwise NE 05 to 15 reaching

WIND : N to NE 10 to 20 in the north-west, but anticyclonic 05 to 10 in the north and north-east otherwise W to NW 15 to 25, reaching 30 in the south-west by end of the period.
VIS : Good, becoming moderate to poor in showers and rain by end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the southern half, reaching 4.0 to 4.5m in the south-east in the first half of the period, with W to SW swell.
