WIND : E to SE 10 to 20 in the north-west, otherwise W to SW 15 to
25 reaching 35 to 45 in the south-east until mid-period but NW
15 to 25 in the west, drifting to the south towards end of
period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the east and west.
SEA STATE: 3.0m, reaching 4.0 to 6.0m in the central parts and 7.0 to
9.0m in the south-east until mid-period, with SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : N to NW 10 to 20 in the east, otherwise S to SE 10 to 20
reaching 25 in the north-west but E to NE 15 to 25 in the
north, but in the south-west towards mid-period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in the central
and southern half, spreading to the northern half towards end
of period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south, with SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

until mid-period, while becoming NW 10 to 20 in the west,
reaching 25 to 35 in the south-west towards end of period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and thundershowers in the
eastern half until mid-period, becoming moderate to poor in
the south-west towards end of period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 7.0m in the central parts and 8.0
to 10.0m in the northern parts until mid-period, with W to NW
swell.
