A COLD FRONT SWEEPS NORTH OVER THE SOUTH ISLAND ON MONDAY, WHILE A

STRONG SOUTHERLIES, WHILE THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LIES TO THE
NORTHEAST OF THE NORTH ISLAND. ON WEDNESDAY, A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE
COVERS MOST OF NEW ZEALAND, BUT THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TO THE
NORTHEAST OF THE NORTH ISLAND SPREADS AN UNSETTLED SOUTHEAST FLOW
ACROSS THE ISLAND. ON THURSDAY, THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM REMAINS TO
THE NORTHEAST OF THE NORTH ISLAND, AND AN EASTERLY FLOW AFFECTS THE
COUNTRY. DURING FRIDAY, EASTERLIES OVER NEW ZEALAND WEAKEN AWAY, AND
