CAPE EAST (32.5S/40S, 20E/50E):
WIND : W to SW 10 to 20 reaching 25 to 30 in the extreme south-east
at first, otherwise anticyclonic 05 in the west and extreme
south-west, but NE 10 to 20 in the north-west reaching 25 in
the north towards end of the period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the west.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south-east for the first half of the
period, with SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : NE 15 to 25 over the eastern half, otherwise S to SW 15
to 25, becoming SE 05 to 15 in the central parts, but NE 10 to
20 in the south-west, where it will be reaching 25 towards the
end of the period
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain in the east, otherwise
good.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the extreme south-west towards the end of the period.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : SE to S 10 to 20 but SW 15 to 25, but SW in the north-east
where it will become NW 05 to 15 from mid-period and NE 05 to
15 in the extreme south-west towards the end of the period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in the central
and north-eastern parts, otherwise good.
MADAGASCAR EAST (10S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : NE to E 15 to 25 in the south, otherwise SE 10 to 20.
VIS : Moderate in showers and thundershowers in places.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : S to SW 15 to 25 in the east, reaching 30 to 35 in the north-
east at first, otherwise NW 10 to 20 but variable 05 to 10 in
the north-west.
VIS : Moderate in showers and thundershowers over the
South-western parts for the first half of the period,
otherwise, good.
