CAPE EAST (32.5S/40S, 20E/50E):
WIND : E to NE 20 to 30, but cyclonic 35 to 45 in the west spreading
to the central parts from mid-period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in places.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m except in the north and north-east, reaching 5.0
to 6.5m in the western parts spreading to the central and
southern parts towards the end of the period, with E to SE
swell becoming NE in places in the central from mid-period.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : W to SW 10 to 20 but N to NE 15 to 25 in the west spreading to
the central and eastern parts towards mid-period, reaching 35
to 45 in the west during the first half of the period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in places.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south-west reaching 4.5m at first, with NE
swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : W to NW 05 to 15 in the eastern parts during the first half of
the period, otherwise E to NE 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 35 in
the south-west at times.
