1. TRADES: SE to S 35 in the south-east towards end of period.
2. TRISTAN: W to NW 35 to 40 over the western and southern parts,
drifting to the central and south-eastern parts by mid-
period, and in the south-west towards end of period.
3. CAPE WEST: W to SW 35 in the south during the first half of the
period.

WIND : SE to E 10 to 15.
VIS : Good.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : W to SW 05 to 15 in the east, otherwise SE to S 05 to 15,
reaching 20 in the south.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and thundershowers in the east
and north-east during the first half of the period.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : SW 10 to 20 in the south-east at first, otherwise E to SE 10
to 20 but NW 10 to 20 in the south-west, spreading to the
south-east towards end of period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the west, drifting
to the south by end of period.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : SW 05 to 15 in the south during the first half of the period,
otherwise SE to S 15 to 25, reaching 30 in the north-east and
35 in the south-east towards end of period.
VIS : Good.
SEA STSTE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the north-east and south-east towards end of
period, with S to SE swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : SW 05 to 15 in the north-east, otherwise W to NW 15 to 25
reaching 30 to 40 over the western and southern parts,
drifting to the central and south-eastern parts by mid-period,
and in the south-west towards end of period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the south
and west, spreading to the central and south-eastern parts
towards end of period.
SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.5m in the south-east at first, but in the west and
south-west, spreading over the central parts by mid-period,
and south-east by end of period, with W to SW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : NE to N 15 to 25 in the south-east but NW 05 to 15 in the
extreme north-east at first, otherwise W to SW 15 to 25,
reaching 30 to 35 in the south during the first half of
the period. It will become NW 15 to 25 in the west and south-
west towards end of period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers in the south-east.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south-east at first, reaching 4.0 to 4.5m
in the south, drifting to the east by end of period, with W to
SW swell.
