CAPE EAST (32.5S/40S, 20E/50E):
WIND : NE to E 15 to 25, but cyclonic 20 to 30 in the central parts
reaching 35 in the first half of the period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the central
and northern parts.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the central and western parts, with NE swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : E to NE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the central-north, but SW to S
15 to 25 in the west from mid-period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the west.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m over the western and central parts, with E to NE
swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : SE to E 10 to 20 at first and again in the south towards the
end of the period, otherwise NE to E 10 to 20 becoming NW to W
05 to 15 in the east towards mid-period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the north from mid-
period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the extreme south, with SE to E swell.
MADAGASCAR EAST (10S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : SE to E 15 to 25, but NE 20 to 30 in the extreme south-west. VIS : Moderate in showers and rain.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : W to NW 10 to 20 reaching 25 to 35 in the south-east at first
and again in the southern half towards the end of the period,
while it will become SW to S 10 to 15 in the extreme south.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the south.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m over the southern half spreading to the north-west
by mid-period and north-east by the end of the period, but
reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the extreme south, with SW swell.
