WIND : SE to S 05 to 15 but W to SW 05 to 15 in the east.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers in the east towards mid-
period.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 15 to 25 over the northern half, otherwise NW 15 to 25
reaching 30 in the south-east but SW 15 to 25 in the south-
west.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in a band of showers and rain from
the west into the south-eastern parts.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : SE to S 15 to 25, reaching 30 in the north-east at first but
NE to N 05 to 15 in the south-west, where it will become NW 10
to 15 towards end of period.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the north-east at first, with S to SE swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : SW to S 15 to 25 over the western half, drifting to the
central parts towards mid-period, otherwise N to NW 15 to 25
reaching 30 to 35 in the south-east during the first half of
the period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain, clearing from the west
by mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m over the eastern half, with W to NW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : Variable 05 to 10 over the central parts, otherwise S to SE 15
to 25 but N to NW 15 to 25 in the south and west, reaching 30
to 35 in the south-west.
