SYNOPSIS FOR ARCTIC WATERS…
A trough extending to a 994 mb low SW of Wrangel Island will move
towards Point Barrow by Sunday afternoon. This will bring strong
winds to much of the western Arctic. A strong 956 mb low over the
Chukotsk Peninsula will move to Wrangel Island at 960 mb Monday
morning as the powerful front shifts into the Beaufort Sea.
