SYNOPSIS FOR ARCTIC WATERS…
A 1000mb low over the Canadian Archipelago will weaken through
Saturday evening. A trough extending to a 998mb low northwest of
Wrangel Island will move towards Point Barrow by Sunday afternoon.
This will bring strong winds to much of the western Arctic. A
strong 956mb low will cross over the Chukotsk Peninsula to
Wrangell Island. This will weaken to around 965mb as it moves into
the Chuckchi Sea.
