ASCENSION (06S/15S, 00E/20W):
WIND : SE to E 10 to 20.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m with SW swell.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 but W to SW 05 to 10 in the east.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers over
the extreme north-east in the second half of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0m over the extreme south-west, with SW swell.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : SE to S 15 to 25 but NE 10 to 15 in the south-west.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers in places in the north-west.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, subsiding in the south-west during the second
half of the period, mainly SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : SW 15 to 20 in the south-west at first, otherwise S to SE 15
to 25, reaching 30 to 35 in the south-east from mid-period.
VIS : Good, but very poor in fog in the extreme north-east,
spreading to the south-east towards end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m with SW swell, becoming 4.5 to 5.0m in the south-
east by towards end of the period with S to SE swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : S to SW 15 to 25 in the eastern half at first, otherwise
variable 05 to 10 becoming NW 15 to 25 in the west, spreading
to the central parts towards end of the period, while reaching
30 to 35 over the south-west.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in the
over the west.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m over the eastern half in the first half of the
period where it will reach 5.0m in the extreme north-east at
first, mainly SW swell becoming 3.5 to 4.5m over the south-
west by end of the period, with NW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : S to SE 05 to 15 in the north-east, otherwise SW to S 10 to 20
reaching 25 towards end of period becoming variable 05 to 10
in the extreme south-west by end of the period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and rain over the western
half, spreading to the south-east by end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.5m subsiding in the west towards end of the period,
mainly W to SW swell.
