WIND : SE to E 10 to 20.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south-west, spreading to the south-east by
end of the period.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 but W to SW 05 to 10 in the east.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : W to SW 15 to 20 in the south and south-east at first,
otherwise SE to S 15 to 25, becoming NE 10 to 15 in the
south-west from mid-period.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers in places in the north-west.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, spreading to the north-east during the first half
of the period, while reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the south-east,
mainly SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : SW 15 to 20 in the south-west during the first half of the
period, otherwise S to SE 15 to 25, reaching 30 in the east by
end of the period.
VIS : Good, but very poor in fog in the extreme north-east,
spreading to the south-east towards end of the period.
SEA STATE: 4.5m to 5.5m in the extreme south-west at first otherwise 3.0
to 4.0m in the south-west during the first half of the period,
spreading to the north and east in the second half of the
period, with mainly SW swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : W to SW 10 to 20 but 25 to 35 in the north-east during the
first half of the period. It will become N to NW 15 to 25 in
the west and south-west from mid-period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in the
north-east at first.
SEA STATE: 4.0 to 6.0m but 3.0 to 3.5m in the west, spreading to the east
while subsiding in the west towards the end of period, mainly
SW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : S to SE 05 to 15 in the north-east, otherwise W to NW 15 to 25
becoming SW 10 to 20 in the west from mid-period, spreading to
the central parts towards end of period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and rain over the western
half, spreading to the south-east by end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m but 4.0 to 6.0m over the west and south-west,
spreading to the east during the second half of the period,
where it will moderate to 3.5 to 4.5 towards end of period,
mainly W to SW swell.
