WIND : SE to E 05 to 15 becoming NE 10 in the extreme south-west by
end of the period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the north-west from
mid-period.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : SW 10 to 15 in the east, otherwise S to SE 10 to 20.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : W to NW 15 to 20 in the south-west, E to SE 05 to 10 in the
east, otherwise N to NW 10 to 20, spreading to the south-east
by end of the period.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers in the south-west.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : W to SW 10 to 15 in the west at first but variable 05 in the
south, otherwise S to SE 10 to 20 in the north-east.
VIS : Good.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : N 15 to 20 in the east at first, otherwise NW to W 20 to 30
but cyclonic 35 to 45 in the south-west during the first half
of the period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in
the western half, spreading to the east from mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m over the western half, spreading to the east
towards end of the period with W to SW swell, but 4.5 to 5.5m
in the south-west in the first half of the period, with NW
swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : Variable 05 to 10 in the north-east at first, otherwise E to
SE 15 to 25 but N to NE 10 to 15 in the south-west. It will
become W to NW 05 to 15 in the towards end of the period but
