WIND : N to NW 15 to 25 in the east reaching 30 to 35 in the south-
east at first, otherwise W to SW 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 40 in
the south spreading to the south-east towards mid-period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain in places becoming good
in the north-west towards the end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the southern half spreading to the central
parts from mid-period and north-east towards the end of the
period, reaching 4.5m to 5.5m in the south and south-east but
6.0 to 6.5m in the south-east towards the end of the period,
with SW swell.
