WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 in the eastern parts reaching 25 to 30 in the
north at first, otherwise W to NW 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 40
in the south-west and west from mid-period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain in places, but moderate
to poor in showers and thundershowers in the north-east
clearing towards the end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in places reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the extreme
south-west towards the end of the period, with SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : S to SW 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 35 in the south-west at first,
but N to NW 15 to 25 in the eastern parts. It will become N to
NE 10 to 20 in the south-west towards mid-period reaching 25
to 30 towards the end of the period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers except
in the western parts.
SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.5m in places in the west subsiding towards the end of
the period, with S to SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 in the south, otherwise E to NE 05 to 15

WIND : W to SW 15 to 25, but S to SE in the north-east during the
first half of the period, becoming cyclonic 25 to 35 in
the west towards mid-period reaching 40 in the south-west by
mid-period spreading to the south by the end of the period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in rain and snow-showers in the west
Spreading to the south and eastern parts from mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 4.5m in the south-east at first and in
places in the south-west towards the end of the period, S to
