WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 over the central parts, otherwise N to NW 15
to 25 reaching 30 in the south-east but NE 10 to 20 in the
west, where it will become SW 15 to 25 towards mid-period, and
30 to 35 towards end of period, spreading to the north-west by
end of period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain over the central parts
and south-west, spreading to the north-west towards end of
period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in places, reaching 4.0 to 4.5m in the south, with
SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : SE 05 to 15 in the north, otherwise N to NE 15 to 25 but SW 10
to 20 in the south-west at first, where it will reach 20 to 30
by end of period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and rain in places over
the eastern half.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the north-east during the first half of the
period, but in the south-west by end of period, with S to SW

10 but SE to E 10 to 20 in the north, reaching 25 in the
extreme north-east.

south-east towards mid-period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in rain and showers in the north-
east and with possible snow showers in the south-west,
spreading to the south-east towards mid-period, while clearing
from the west.
