4. MARION FORTIES EAST: W to SW 35 to 40 in east at first. It will
become N to NW 35 in the south-west towards mid-
period reaching 40 in the extreme south-west from
mid-period spreading to the south and south-east
towards the end of the period.

WIND : S to SE 20 to 30 in the east reaching 35 to 40 in the south-
east at first, but anticyclonic 05 to 15 in the central parts
spreading to the eastern parts from mid-period, otherwise E to
NE 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 35 in the north-west.
VIS : Moderate in light showers and rain in places.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in places, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the east and
south-east but 7.0 to 7.5m in the extreme south-east at first,
with W to SW swell but NE in the west.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : N to NE 15 to 25 in the south-west, reaching 30 to 35 in the
extreme south-west from mid-period, otherwise S to SE 15 to 25
reaching 30 in the north at first.
