CAPE EAST (32.5S/40S, 20E/50E):
WIND : NW 15 to 25 in the north-east at first, otherwise S to SE 15
to 25 reaching 30 to 40 in the north during the first half of
the period but SW 15 to 25 in the south. It will become E to
NE 15 to 25 in the north-west towards end of period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 4.0 to 6.0m, but 3.0 to 3.5m in the south-west, spreading to
the north-west towards mid-period with SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : NE to N 15 to 25 over the eastern half, otherwise SW to S 20
to 30 reaching 35 to 40 in the west, becoming SE 10 to 20 in
the south-west towards mid-period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain over the
western half, spreading to the south-east by end of period.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the south, reaching 4.0 to 6.0m in west,
spreading over the central parts by mid-period, while
moderating from the south-west, with S to SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL (10S/25S, EAST COAST/WEST COAST):
WIND : SE to E 10 to 20 in the extreme north, otherwise NE to N 10 to
20 but NW 10 to 20 in the south, and S to SE 15 to 25 in the
south-west, where it will reach 30 during the first half of
period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the south-west.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south-west, with S well.
