WIND : E to SE 15 to 25.
VIS : Good.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 reaching 25 in the south from mid-period.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south from mid-period, with S swell.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : NE 10 to 15 in the south-west reaching 20 to 25 in the extreme
south-west from mid-period, otherwise E to SE 15 to 25.
VIS : Good, becoming moderate in showers and rain in the south-west
from mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the extreme south-east from mid-period reaching
3.5m from mid-period, with SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the north-east from mid-
period, but S to SW 10 to 20 in the extreme south for the
first half of the period.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south spreading northwards and reaching the
north by mid-period while reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the south-
east from mid-period, with SW to S swell, but SE in the north
towards the end of the period.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : S to SW 15 to 25 in the east reaching 30 in the south-east at
first, otherwise NE to N 20 to 30 reaching 35 to 40 in the
south-west from mid-period, while becoming anticyclonic 05 to
10 in the south-east.
VIS : Good but poor in showers and rain in the south-west at first,
but in the west from mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, except in the north-west for the first half of
the period, but 5.0 to 6.0m in the south-east until mid-period
reaching 7.0 to 8.0m in the extreme south-east at first, with
S to SW swell. It will become 5.0 to 6.0m in the south-west
from mid-period, with N to NE swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : W to SW 20 to 30 reaching 35 to 45 over the central and
southern parts moderating 15 to 25 from the west from mid-
period.
VIS : Good in the extreme north-west, otherwise poor in rain and
showers, becoming good in the west from mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.5m in the north at first, otherwise 5.5 to 6.5m
reaching 7.0 to 9.0m over the central and southern parts. It
will subside in the west to 4.0 to 5.0m from mid-period, with
SW swell.
