WIND : E to SE 10 to 15 reaching 20 in the west.
VIS : Good.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 15 but SW 05 to 15 in the east.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 05 to 15 in the north, otherwise S to SW 10 to 20 but
NW 15 to 25 in the south-east.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and rain over the central
and southern parts.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the extreme south, with SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the south-east at first but
anticyclonic 05 to 15 in the west. It will become NW 10 to 20
in the extreme south-west from mid-period.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0m to 4.0m in the south-eastern parts for the first half of
the period, with S swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : N to NW 30 to 40 in the extreme east at first, otherwise W to
SW 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the south at first.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain but poor over the eastern parts
at first.
SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.5m reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the south but 6.5m in the
extreme south-east at first, with W to SW swell but NW swell
in the east for the first half of the period. It will subside
to 3.0 to 4.0m across the area from mid-period.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : E to SE 15 to 25 in the north-east, otherwise N to NW 15 to 25
reaching 30 to 40 in the south-western parts but E to NE 20 to
30 in the south-east. It will become W to SW 10 to 20 in the
extreme south-west from mid-period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the west.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m with SE swell in the extreme east but 4.0 to 6.0m
in the south-west with NW swell.
