ASCENSION (06S/15S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 15 to 20.
VIS : Good.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 15 but SW 05 to 10 in the east.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 05 to 15 in the north, otherwise N to NW 10 to 20
reaching 25 to 30 in the extreme south. It will become SW 10
to 20 in the south-western parts from mid-period.
VIS : Good but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the south.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the extreme south-west, with SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the south-east for the first
half of the period. It will become anticyclonic 05 to 15 in
the south-western parts from mid-period.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0m to 4.0m in the south-eastern parts, with S swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : N to NW 30 to 40 in the east for the first half of the period,
otherwise W to SW 25 to 35 moderating towards the end of the
period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain but poor over the central and
eastern parts.
SEA STATE: 4.0 to 6.0m reaching 6.5 to 7.0m in the south for the first
half of the period, with W to NW swell, becoming W to SW swell
in the west from mid-period. It will subside to 3.0 to 4.0m in
the west and north from mid-period.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : S to SW 20 to 30 in the east where it will become E to NE 20
to 30 from mid-period, otherwise N to NW 20 to 30 reaching 35
to 45 in the south-western parts. It will become W to SW 10 to
20 in the extreme south-west towards the end of the period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in the south-east for the first
half of the period, otherwise good. It will become moderate to
poor in showers and rain in the south-western parts from mid-
period spreading to the western parts by end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the extreme east reaching 4.5m in the extreme
south-east at first, with SW swell. It will become 3.5 to 4.5m
in the west from mid-period, with NW swell, reaching 5.5 to
6.5m in the south-west.
