to 25 in the extreme south-west towards mid-period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the extreme south-
west at first.

WIND : S to SW 10 to 20, but anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the north-west
at first, spreading to the north-east by the end of the
period, becoming N to NW 15 to 25 in the west by mid-period,
reaching 35 to 45 in the north-west towards the end of the
period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain, but good over the
central parts.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, SW swell in the east at first as well as in the
extreme west by the end of the period, NW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : S to SW 10 to 20, reaching 30 in the extreme south-east at
first, but cyclonic 15 to 25 in the north-west at first,
reaching 35 in places, spreading to the south-east by the end
of the period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, but 5.0 to 6.0m in the south-east, reaching 7.0
to 8.0m in the extreme south-east until mid-period, SW swell.
