1. TRADES: S to SE 35 in the extreme north-east during the first half of
the period.
2. TRISTAN: W to NW 35 to 45 except in the south-west towards mid-period : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south-east from mid-period, SW swell.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 10 to 20 in the north, otherwise W to NW 15 to 25 but
anti-cyclonic 05 to 15 in the central parts.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south, reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the extreme
south-east during the first half of the period, SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : W to SW 15 to 25 in the south becoming anti-cyclonic 05 to 15
towards mid-period but NW 15 to 25 in the extreme south-west
from mid-period spreading to the south-east towards the end of
the period, otherwise S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 35 in
the extreme north-east during the first half of the period
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the south, SW swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : W to NW 30 to 40, reaching 45 becoming S to SW 15 to 25 in the
south-west towards mid-period spreading to the central parts
towards the end of the period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in the south, spreading to the
north-west by mid-period, otherwise good.
SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.5m reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the central west until
mid-period, spreading to the central east from mid-period
where it will reach 6.5 to 7.0m, W to SW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : W to SW 15 to 25 reaching 35 to 45 in the south becoming NW 25
to 35 reaching 40 to 45 in the west towards mid-period
spreading to the central parts mid-period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain except in the north during the
second half of the period, otherwise good.
SEA STATE: 5.0 to 6.0m reaching 7.0 to 8.0m but 9.0 to 10m in the central
south, spreading to the south-east mid-period, W to SW swell.
