CAPE EAST (32.5S/40S, 20E/50E):
WIND : Cyclonic 15 to 30 in the extreme north-east at first,
otherwise anti-cyclonic 05 to 15, but N to NW 20 to 30 in the
west, spreading eastwards towards mid-period. It will become W
to SW 25 to 35 in the west from mid-period, reaching 40 in the
extreme south-west.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers and rain in places the south and
east places in the first half of the period, as well as in the
extreme west by the second half of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the west from mid-period,
but 7.0m in the extreme south-west towards the end of the
period, SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : Cyclonic 15 to 25 in the east, reaching 30 in the south-east
at times, otherwise Anti-cyclonic 05 to 15, but NE 20 to 30 in
the extreme east.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers and rain in placed in the east.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, in the south, SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the south at first, otherwise S to
SE 10 to 20, but E to NE 10 to 15 in the south-west towards
mid-period.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers in the extreme north at times.
MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : Variable 05 to 10 in the south, otherwise SE to E 10 to 20,
reaching 25 in the extreme north.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in places at times.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the east at first, SW swell.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : W to NW 15 to 25, reaching 30 in places but 35 to 40 in the
