first.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : W to SW 20 to 30 but anti-cyclonic 10 in the west spreading to
the central parts by the end of the period.
VIS : Good in the west, otherwise moderate in showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m SW swell reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in places in the
extreme south east at first, S to SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but NE 10 to 20 in the south west at times.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers in the north.

– Low 966 hPa near 46S/55E moving south-eastward 35/40 kt and associated with a cold front (CG) axis 50S/59E, 40S/64E, 30S/52E and a warm front (WG) axis 50S/59E, 48S/67E, 43S/73E moving eastward at 20/25 kt.

WAM (30S/40S,50E/65E) :
Rain, squalls and frontal showers (CG). Violent gusts.
WIND: W to SW 7 to 9, locally NW 6 to 8 at the beginning of the period
over the far south-eastern area, soon becoming south-westerly 5 to
8 and becoming westerly 4 to 7 at the end of the period.
SEA : high to very high. SW swell 6 to 8m..
VIS : very poor in precipitations.
AMS (30S/40S,65E/80E) :
Rain and frontal showers under CF at the beginning of the period over the eastern area, then under CG soon. Violent gusts.
WIND: NW to N 4 to 7 from east to west, becoming N then W 6 to 8 soon and
becoming SW 7/8 locally 9 at the end of the period.
SEA : rough becoming very rough to very high from the west. Westerly
swell 2 to 4m, increasing SW 5 to 8m by the end of the period.
VIS : very poor in precipitations.
CRO (40S/50S,50E/65E) :
Rain and frontal showers, thundery squalls at times (CG). Violent gusts.
WIND: north-westerly 4/5 ahead of the front, backing SW 6 to 9 behind,
then decreasing soon westerly 5 to 7, then increasing westerly 7 to
9 at the end.
SEA : very rough to very high from south to north. Westerly swell 6 to
8m.
VIS : very poor in precipitations.
KER (40S/50S,65E/80E) :
Rain and frontal showers under CF at the beginning of the period over the eastern area, then under CF. Violent gusts.
WIND: variable and weak over eastern area, northerly 5 to 7 over western
area becoming clockwise 5/6, then SW 7/8.
SEA : rough to very rough, becoming very rough to high. Westerly swell
3/4m, increasing 4 to 6m.
