WIND : SW 15 to 25 over the central and south eastern parts,
otherwise N to NW 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 35 in the south west
second half of the period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places but good in the north.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : NE 10 to 15in the north west, otherwise W to NW 10 to
20, but anti-cyclone over the central parts. It will be SW 10
to 20 in the south.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in the east.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the extreme south-east, SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : Variable 05 to 10 in the extreme south, otherwise E to SE 10
to 20 but NE 10 to 15 in the south west.
VIS : Good.
MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : S to SE 20 to 30, but N to NE 10 to 20 in the central parts,
but NW 10 to 15 in the extreme south.
VIS : Moderate in showers in places.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the extreme north, E to SE swell.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25 in the south east, otherwise SW 15 to 25 but
N to NW 10 to 20 in the west, it will become NE 5 to 25 in the
extreme west second half of the period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain at first, but good in the
west.

Becoming NW 4 to 6 behind, temporary 7 over far southern at first.
SEA : Rough to very rough. Westerly swell 3 to 4 m and Northerly swell 3
to 4 m over far eastern.
VIS : Poor to very poor in precipitations.
AMS (30S/40S,65E/80E) :Frontal rains and showers with CF over southwestern soon.
WIND: Anticlockwise 3 to 5 over northeastern, increasing North to
Northwest 6/7 ahead of CF. Gusts.
SEA : Moderate to rough, locally very rough over Southern area. Southerly
swell 2 to 3m abating by western.
VIS : Poor with precipitation.
CRO (40S/50S,50E/65E) : Frontal rains and showers with CF leaving the area by eastern soon. Showers, locally thundery squalls behind.
WIND: Northerly 7/8 over far eastern at start. Strong Gusts. Becoming
clockwise 3/5 over southeastern and 6/7 over northwestern.
SEA : Rough to very rough. Northerly swell 3/4 m then Westerly swell 3/4m
propagating southeastward.
VIS : Poor to very poor in precipitations.
KER (40S/50S,65E/80E) :Frontal rains and showers with WF and CF. showers and squalls behind.
WIND: South-West 3/5 over Eastern, Increasing Northerly 7/8 ahead of CF
then decreasing Westerly 5/6 behind.
SEA : Rough to very rough. South-Westerly swell 3/5 m abating, then
North-West swell 3/4 m by Western part at end.
