WIND : NW to W 20 to 30 but 35 to 45 on the central and east.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m but 5.0 to 6.0m over the south-central and south-
east, cyclonic swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : N to NE 15 to 25 in the east, otherwise anti-cyclonic 15 to
25.
VIS : Good in the extreme east, but moderate in showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.5m in the south and central, SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the central at first, otherwise E to
SE 10 to 20 but NE 10 to 15 in the south-west towards mid-
period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in rain in showers in the extreme south and
north.
MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : S to SE 20 to 30, but N to NE 10 to 20 in the south, but
variable 05 to 10 towards mid-period.
VIS : Moderate in showers in places, but good in the south.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the north, SE swell.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : Cyclonic 15 to 25 reaching 35 to 40 in places in the north and
south.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain but poor in the east at first,
becoming good in the extreme east towards the end of the
