WIND : E to SE 15 to 25.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain the extreme west.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but variable 05 to 15 in the extreme east.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : Variable 05 to 10 over the central parts, otherwise SE to S 10
to 20 but NW to W 10 to 20 in the south, becoming SW 10 to 20
in the south-west by the second half of the period. It will be
VIS : Good in the north, otherwise moderate showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0m to 4.0m in the south and central reaching 4.5m at first,
SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25, but SW 10 to 15 in the south-west where it
will be NW 10 to 20 at first and again towards the end of the
period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers in the south-west in the first
half of the period, becoming very poor in fog in the extreme
east by the second half.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the west and central, SW swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : SW 10 to 20 in the north-east at first, otherwise W to NW 15
to 25 reaching 35 to 40 in the west spreading eastwards by
the mid-period. It will become SW 20 to 30 in the south-west
towards mid-period reaching 35 while spreading to the south-
central by the second half of the period.
VIS : Good in the east in the first half of the period, otherwise
moderate in showers and rain clearing in the west by the
second half of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the south, W to SW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : N to NW 15 to 25 in the east, otherwise W to SW 15 to 25. It
will become NW 10 to 20 in the west by the second half of the
period, reaching 35 in the extreme south-west towards the end
of the period.
VIS : Good in the east in the first half of the period, otherwise
moderate in showers and rain, clearing the central towards the
end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the west and central reaching 5.0 to 6.0m at
first, W to SW swell.
