the east where it be NE 15 to 25 until mid-period, otherwise W
to SW 15 to 25, reaching 35 in the north-east from mid-period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and thundershowers, but good in the east
at first.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, except in the north-east, reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in
the north-west at times, SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : N to NE 10 to 20 in the east, otherwise NW 10 to 20, but SW 10
to 20 in the south-west.
VIS : Good, but moderate in the south-west.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south-west, SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : Ant-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the south, otherwise E to SE 10 to
20.
VIS : Good.
MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : S to SE 20 to 30, but NE 10 to 20 in the south.
VIS : Moderate in showers in places, but good in the south.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the north, SE swell.

VIS : Generally good, becoming poor in precipitations over far south-
western later.

Frontal rains and showers moving eastward.
WIND: W 6/7 ahead of front, becoming southerly 4/5 behind.
SEA : very rough becoming rough by western. SW swell 3/5m decreasing 2/4m
by western. S swell 2/3 m over southern later.
VIS : poor in precipitations.
CRO (40S/50S,50E/65E) :
Scattered showers, more frequent over far north-western at end.
WIND: anticlockwise 3/5 locally 6 over south-eastern and north-western.
Increasing NE 7 over far north-western at end.
SEA : rough to very rough, becoming moderate to rough from west to east
soon. Westerly swell 2 to 3 m then S swell 2 m.
VIS : Generally good, becoming poor in precipitations over far north-western later.
KER (40S/50S,65E/80E) :
Showers, locally snow in the south.
WIND : S to SW 5/6 locally 7 over far southern.
SEA : routh to very rough. Westerly swell 2/4m abating, locally S swell
4/5m over far eastern at start. Sw sweel increasing 3/5 m over far
southern soon.
VIS : poor in precipitations.
