SEA STATE: 5.0 to 6.0m in the south, otherwise 3.0 to 4.0m, W to SW
swell.

WIND : N to NW 10 to 20 but NE 15 to 25 in the north east.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the south first half of the period, SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : SE 15 to 25 in the north, otherwise NE 10 to 20.

MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but NE 10 to 20 in the south.
VIS : Moderate in the north, otherwise good.

MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : N to NW 20 to 30 reaching 35 to 40 in the north west, but SW
10 to 20 in the north west spreading to the east, becoming NE
10 to 20 in the north west second half of the period. it will
be SE 15 to 25 in the south west spreading to the south east.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places.
SEA STATE: 5.5 to 6.5m in the north east, otherwise 3.5 and 4.5m , s to

– Cold front (CG) over Eastern KER at first, moving quickly Eastward.
– Low 988 hPa near 42S/35E, expected 980 hPa near 48S/72E at end. Cold Front associated over Western CRO at first, moving Eastward and expected over Eastern KER at end.
– High 1033 hPa near 34S/81E, expected 1031 hPa near 29S/62E at end.
PART 3: FORECAST FOR 24 HOURS from 11/07/24 at 1800 UTC to 12/07/24 at 1800 UTC :
WAM (30S/40S,50E/65E): Few showers over far Southern area.
WIND: W or NW 4 to 6 from North to South, 7 with severe gusts over far
Southern, decreasing at end W 4 or 5 over Western.
SEA : rough to very rough from North to South. Long W swell, 3 to 5 m.
VISI: mainly good.
AMS (30S/40S,65E/80E): Few showers.
WIND: NW or W 3 to 5 over Northern, increasing 5 or 6 over Southern, and
7 with severe gusts over far Southern at end.
SEA : rough to very rough, locally moderate over North-Eastern. Arrival
by Western of a long W swell, 2 to 4 m.
VISI: mainly good.
CRO (40S/50S,50E/65E): Frontal rain, showers and squalls.
WIND: at first, W 6 or 7, locally 8 over North-Eastern, then increasing
soon W 8 or 9 with violent gusts over Northern and setting-up later
S 5 or 6 over Southern.
SEA : Very rough to high. Long W swell, 4 to 6 m.
VISI: poor to very poor in precipitations.
KER (40S/50S,65E/80E): Frontal rain, showers and squalls.
WIND: W 6 to 8 with severe gusts, increasing later W 8 or 9 with violent
gusts over Northern and becoming clockwise 4 to 6 over Southern.
SEA : Very rough to high. Long W swell, 4 to 6 m.
VISI: poor to very poor in precipitations.
