in the north and east.
SEA STATE: 5.0 to 6.0m, reaching 7.0 to 7.5m in places, but 8.0m in the
west until mid-period, moderating to 4.0m in the east, W
to SW swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : N to NW 10 to 20 but NE 15 to 25 in the west and extreme north
east.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the west, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the south-
west at first, SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 reaching 25 in the north east, but N to NW 15
to 25 in the south-west.

MADAGASCAR EAST:

a low 965 near 58S/58E, moving eastward.
– Cold front (CG) axis 32S/39E, 42S/51E, 50S/50E, rather quickly moving
eastward.
– High 1034 near 36S/77E, slowly moving eastward.
– Warm front (WH) over northern CRO at end.

WAM (30S/40S,50E/65E) :Frontal rain, showers and squalls with CF in east at first, and with CG over southern area.

SEA : rough to very rough, locally high in south. W swell 3 to 5 m
spreading eastward, locally 6 m in far south.
VIS : poor to very poor in precipitations.
AMS (30S/40S,65E/80E) :Frontal rain, showers and squalls with CF in west at first moving eastward, then with CG over southern area later.
WIND: anticlockwise 3/4 in north-east. N to NW 5/7 with gusts elsewhere,
decreasing 3/4 in north-west at end.
SEA : moderate to rough, locally very rough in far south at end. W swell
2 to 4 m in west at end.
VIS : poor to very poor in precipitations.
CRO (40S/50S,50E/65E) :Frontal rain, showers and squalls with CF in far north-east at first, with CG in west moving eastward. Showers locally thundery behind, then frontal rain and showers with WH over northern area at end.
WIND: NW 6/7 locally 8, backing gradually W. Gusts.
SEA : very rough to high. W to NW swell 3 to 5 m, increasing soon 5 to 6
m in north. Crossed sea in the vicinity of CG.
VIS : poor to very poor in precipitations.
KER (40S/50S,65E/80E) :Frontal rain, showers and squalls with CF in east at first, then with CG in west soon. Showers locally thundery in west behind CG later.
WIND: NW 5/7, increasing 6/8 soon, then backing W at end. Gusts.
