VIS : Good but moderate in light showers in the west.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but SW 05 to 15 in the extreme east.

ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : SW 25 to 35 in the extreme south-east, otherwise E to SE 15
to 25 becoming N to NW 15 to 25 in the south-west by mid-
period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain over the central parts.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south, reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the extreme
south-east in the first half of the period, subsiding in the
south-west by the end of the period, SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : N to NW 20 to 30 over the south-central parts, otherwise S to
SE 10 to 20 but SW 20 to 30 spreading towards the south-east
by mid-period while it reaches 35 to 40.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the south-west
spreading to the south-east by mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south-west spreading towards the south-east
by mid-period, reaching 5.0 to 6.5m in the extreme south, SW
swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : S to SW 20 to 30 reaching 35 to 45 in the east, but anti-
cyclonic 05 in the west becoming N to NW 10 to 20 in the
extreme west by mid-period reaching 35 to 40 in the south-west
by mid-period spreading towards the central parts by the end
of the period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the east, as
well as in the extreme south-west spreading towards the east
by the end of the period.
SEA STATE: 4.0 to 5.0m, reaching 6.5 to 8.5m in the east, subsiding in
the west by mid-period, SW swell but NW swell in the west.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : N to NW 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 35 in the south-east and
north-west, but S to SW 25 to 35 in the extreme south-west
spreading towards the east by the end of the period while it
reaches 45 to 50 in the south-east.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in the west spreading towards the
east by mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.5m reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the south-west and west
spreading towards the east while reaching 8.0 to 9.0m by the
end of the period, W to SW swell.
