WIND : W to NW 15 to 25 in the west reaching 30 to 35 towards the end
of the period, otherwise N to NE 20 to 30 but anti-cyclonic 05
to 15 in the east.
VIS : Good in the east, otherwise moderate to poor in showers and
thundershowers.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m with SW swell but E to NE swell over the central
and western parts.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : E to SE 15 to 25 in the east, otherwise E to NE 15 to 25.
VIS : Good in the western and south-eastern parts, otherwise
moderate in showers.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the extreme south at first and in the extreme north
from mid-period, with SW swell.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : S to SE 05 to 10 reaching 15 to 20 in the east and north.
VIS : Moderate in light showers in the west and south, otherwise
good.
MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 reaching 25 in the north. It will become E to
NE 10 to 20 in the south from mid-period reaching 25 in the
extreme south-west.
VIS : Moderate in light showers.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : SW 15 to 25 in the east for the first half of the period
reaching 30 in the south-east, otherwise N to NW 15 to 25
