WIND : E to SE 15 to 20.
VIS : Good but moderate in light showers in the south-west.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the extreme south-west from mid-period, with SW swell.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 15 reaching 20 in the south but SW 05 to 15 in
the extreme east.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 over the central parts, otherwise
E to SE 10 to 20 but W to NW 10 to 20 in the south.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers and rain in the south.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the south and west reaching 3.5m in the south-west,
with SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the south, otherwise S to SE 10 to
20 reaching 25 in the north-east but NW to W 10 to 15 in the
extreme south for the first half of the period.
VIS : Moderate in light showers in the extreme south for the first
half of the period, otherwise good.
TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the north-east for the first half of
the period, otherwise NW to W 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 40 in
the west and south spreading to the central parts by mid-
period.
VIS : Good in the east for the first half of the period, otherwise
moderate to poor in frontal showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the north-east, otherwise 4.5 to 5.5m, with W to SW
swell, reaching 6.0 to 6.5m in the west from mid-period
spreading to the central parts by end of the period.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : NW 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the south-east from mid-period but
W to SW 15 to 25 in the west spreading to the central parts by
mid-period and the eastern parts by end of the period. It will
become N to NW 20 to 30 in the extreme west towards the end of
the period.
VIS : Good in the north-east, otherwise moderate to poor in frontal
showers and rain, becoming good in the west from mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m, except in the north-east, reaching 4.0m in the
south-west, with mainly W to SW swell.
