WIND : N to NW 20 to 30 reaching 35 in the south east, otherwise SE
15 to 25 but SW 10 to 15 in the north west at first.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers in the east and central parts.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south, SE swell but SW in the south east.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : N to NE 10 to 20 reaching 25 in places, but anti-cyclonic
05 to 15 in the west. it will become SE 10 to 20 in the east
and central parts second half of the period.
VIS : Moderate in showers in places, but good in the west.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 but E to NE 05 to 10 in the south west.
VIS : Moderate in showers in places in the west, otherwise good.
MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : NE 10 to 20 in the extreme south-west spreading to the south-
east by mid-period, otherwise E to SE 15 to 25.
VIS : Moderate in showers.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : N to NW 30 to 40 in the east at first, otherwise SW 20 to 30
becoming SE 15 to 25 in the north second half of the period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain, clearing from the north.

eastern at end. Cross sea.
VISI: very poor under precipitation.
KER (40S/50S,65E/80E) : Showers or squalls, rain or snow over south-western later.
WIND: SW 7/8, decreasing W 5/7 at first, then increasing NW 8/9 later,
locally 10 at end.
SEA : very rough to high, becoming locally very high at end. S swell 5 to
7 m decreasing 3 to 5 m then NW swell 4 to 6 m in south-west at
end. Cross sea.
