WIND : SE 10 to 15 reaching 20 in the west.
VIS : Good but moderate in light showers in the west.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20 but SW 10 to 15 in the extreme south-east.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 05 to 15 but W to NW 10 to 20 in the south where it
will become S to SW 10 to 15 towards the end of the period.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers and rain in the south.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the south, otherwise S to SE 10 to
20. It will become N to NW 10 to 15 in the south-west towards
the end of the period.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers and rain in the extreme south-
west.
TRISTAN (30S/40SE, 00E/20W):
WIND : N to NW 25 to 35 in the south-east for the first half of the
period, otherwise W to SW 20 to 30 reaching 35 in the south.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the south but 6.0 to 7.0m
in the south-west, with mainly SW to W swell but NW swell in
the south-east for the first half of the period.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : NW 25 to 35 in the extreme south-east at first, otherwise W to
SW 15 to 25 but anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 over the western and
central parts spreading to the eastern parts by mid-period. It
will become N to NW 20 to 30 in the west from mid-period
reaching 35 to 40 in the south-west.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in the south-east for the first
half of the period, otherwise good. It will become moderate to
poor in showers and rain in the west from mid-period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, except in the north, reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the
south-east, with SW swell. It will become 3.5 to 4.5m in the
west from mid-period reaching 5.0m in the south-west, with NW
swell.
