SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the south, SW swell but NW
over the central parts.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : Variable 05 to 15 in the south-west, otherwise E to NE 15 to
25 but NW 10 to 20 in the extreme west.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25 but variable 05 to 15 in the south.
VIS : Good but moderate in showers at times.
MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the north but NE to E 10 to 20
in the south reaching 25 in the extreme north.
VIS : Moderate in showers and thundershowers at times.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : N to NW 20 to 30 reaching 35 to 40 in the east. It will become
W to SW 20 to 30 in the west from mid-period reaching 35 to 40
in the south-west, moderating at the end of the period.
VIS : Moderate to poor in showers and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the south, SW to W swell
but NW in the east.

– High 1026 hPa 35S/46E expected 1030 hPa towards 33S/58E at the end.

WAM (30S/40S,50E/65E): Few showers.
WIND: Becoming anticlockwise 2/4 from west zone but south-westerly 6/7 to
south-east in daytime and north-westerly 5/6 at end over south-
west.
SEA : Rough to very rough from north to south. SW swell 2 to 5m from
north to south.
VISI: good.
AMS (30S/40S,65E/80E): Rain, frontal showers and squalls over East zone CF.
WIND: becoming south-westerly 4/6 from west, but at first and over far
eastern, northerly 6 to 8 from north to south with strong gusts
ahead CF, backing south-westerly 4 to 7 from north to south behind.
SEA : rough to very rough from north to south. SW swell 3/5m but
Southerly swell 2/3m ahead the front CF and NW swell 2/4m behind.
VISI: Very poor under precipitation.
CRO (40S/50S,50E/65E): Rain and frontal showers CG.
WIND: Westerly to SW 4/6, reaching 7/8 over northeast quarter at first,
increasing NW 6/7 over west at end.
SEA : Very rough, becoming rough to very rough. Westerly swell 3/5m
diminishing 2m in west at the end.
VISI: Poor to very poor under precipitation.
KER (40S/50S,65E/80E): Rain, frontal showers and squalls over north-east CF area, then rain and showers CG. Loc snow over far southern.
WIND: Westerly to NW 5/6, locally 7, settling up SW 4/6 at the end,
reaching 7 in southeast, but clockwise 7/8 with strong gusts in
northeast at first with CF.
SEA : rough to very rough. SW swell of 3/5m, but clockwise swell 2/4m
over the north-east quarter at first.
VISI: Poor to very poor under precipitation.
