CAPE EAST (32.5S/40S, 20E/50E):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the east reaching 25 in the central
parts, otherwise W to NW 25 to 35 in the west becoming SW 25
to 30 in the extreme south-west by midday spreading eastward.
VIS : Good, becoming moderate over the central parts and in the west
spreading eastward.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m SW swell in places reaching 5.0m in places in the
west.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : E to SE 10 to 20, but N to NE 15 to 25 in the west reaching
30. It will become S to SW 10 to 20 in the extreme south-west
from midday spreading northward.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places in the west.
SEA STATE: 3.0m S to SW swell in places in the south-west.
MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25, becoming SW 10 to 15 in the south.
VIS : Good in the south, otherwise moderate in showers in places.
MADAGASCAR EAST:
WIND : S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the north.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and thundershowers in the north.
MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):
WIND : W to NW 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the east at first. It will
become N to NW 20 to 30 in the west towards midday spreading
eastward.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the west spreading
to the central parts.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m W to SW swell reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in places
spreading eastward. It will become N to NW swell in places in
the west towards the end of the period.

SEA : Rough, very rough over Southern. South-South-West swell 2 to 3 m, 4
m over Southern area.
VIS : Becoming good.
AMS (30S/40S,65E/80E) :
Showers and squalls.
WIND: North 5 to 7 over Eastern setting-up Clockwise 5 to 7 by South-
Western area, increasing locally 8 ahead the low then South-West 5
to 6 behind by Western area. Gusts.
SEA : Rough to very rough. Cyclonic swell 2 to 4 m.
VIS : Very poor in precipitations.
CRO (40S/50S,50E/65E) :
Scattered showers.
WIND: Westerly 5 to 7, locally 8 over Northern part then setting-up
North-West 4 to 5 by Western area at end. Gusts.
SEA : Rough to very rough. Westerly swell 3 to 5 m.
VIS : Poor to very poor under precipitations.
KER (40S/50S,65E/80E) :
Showers and squalls.
WIND: Becoming Clockwise 6 to 8 by North-Eastern area during the night,
westerly to South-West 4 to 5 elsewhere. Westerly to North-West 5
to 6 all over the area at end. Gusts.
SEA : Rough to very rough. South-West swell 3 to 5 m, then North-West
swell 4 m over North-Eastern at end.
VIS : Poor to very poor in precipitations.
