WIND : W to SE 10 to 20.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in places in the west
during the first half of the period.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but SW 10 to 20 in the extreme east at
times.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 15 in the south-west, spreading to the
south-east by mid-period, becoming NW 15 to 25 in the south-
west end of the first half of the period, otherwise E to SE 10
to 20.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places in the central parts at
first, otherwise good.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : W to SW 15 to 25 in the extreme south during the first half of
the period, otherwise S to SW 10 to 20, becoming SE 10 to 20
in the north-west from the second half of the period.
VIS : Moderate in rain and showers in places in the south-west
during the first half of the period, otherwise good.
TRISTAN (30S/40SE, 00E/20W):
WIND : W to NW 20 to 30 in the west reaching 35 to 45 in the south-
west, spreading to the central parts by mid-period and to the
south-east towards the end of the period but SW 15 to 25
reaching 30 in the east during the first half of the period.
It will become SW 15 to 25 in the south-west towards the end
of the period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in the south-west, spreading to
the central parts towards the end of the period, otherwise
good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, but 5.0 to 6.0m in the south-west where it will
reach 6.5 to 7.5m towards mid-period, spreading to the central
parts beginning of the second half of the period, SW
swell in the north-east, otherwise W to NW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : NE 10 to 20 in the extreme east until mid-period, otherwise W
to NW 10 to 20 reaching 25 in places but SW 20 to 30 in the
west during the first half of the period, spreading to the
central parts by mid-period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places in the west, spreading
to the central parts by mid-period while clearing from the
west. It will spread to the east towards the end of the
period, otherwise good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the west, W to NW swell.
