ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but SW 05 to 15 in the extreme east.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 15 to 25, but NW 10 to 20 in the south-west.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places.
SEA STATE: 3.0m in the east in the first half of the period, S to
SE swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : Variable 05 in the south-east, otherwise S to SE 15 to 25.
VIS : Good in the extreme east, otherwise moderate in showers.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south-west and north-east, S to SW swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40SE, 00E/20W):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 10 in the east, otherwise N to NW 15 to 25
reaching 35 to 40 in the extreme south-west spreading towards
the south-east by the end of the period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in a band of showers and rain in
the west spreading towards the south-east by the end of the
period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south, reaching 4.0 to 4.5m in the south-
west spreading towards south-east by the end of the period.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : S to SW 15 to 20 reaching 30 in the extreme south-east in the
first half of the period, becoming anti-cyclonic in the south-
west from the second half of the period, spreading eastwards.
It will become NW 10 to 20 reaching 25 in the extreme south-
west but SE 10 to 20 in the extreme east by the end of the
period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain but good in the south-west
spreading north clearing by the end of the period.
SEA STATE: 4.5 to 5.5m in the extreme south-east in the first half of the
first period, otherwise 3.0 to 4.0m in the south, spreading to
the south-east while reaching 4.5 to 5.5m from the second half
of the period, SW swell.
