WIND : Variable 05 to 10 in the extreme south-east, otherwise E to NE
15 to 25, reaching 30 to 40 over the central parts but
Cyclonic 15 to 25 in the west spreading east reaching
30 to 40 in the north and south-west spreading east.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the central
and western parts, moving east.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in places in the south-west
Mainly E to NE swell.
DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):
WIND : E to SE 10 to 20 in the east, otherwise E to NE 15 to 25,
reaching 35 to 40 in the central parts but N to NW 15 to
25 in the extreme west spreading east.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain over the central parts spreading

zone at the end of the period.
SEA : Rough to very rough becoming moderate to rough in the west zone.
Long southerly swell, 3 to 5 m from west to east, abating 2 to 3 m
by west zone.
VIS :Good to moderate.
AMS (30S/40S,65E/80E) :
Showers over Eastern zone at the beginning.
WIND: Southeast 6 to 8 decreasing later South 4 to 6 from West to East
then becoming anticlockwise 3/4 over Northern zone at the end.
SEA : Rough to very rough. Long southerly swell, 4 to 6m abating to 3 to
4 m at the end of the period.
VIS : Moderate to poor with precipitation.
CRO (40S/50S,50E/65E) :
Rare showers.
WIND: South-westerly 5 to 7 becoming anticlockwise 3/4 over the northern
zone at the end of the period.
SEA: Rough to very rough. South or South-Westerly swell, 3 to 4 m,
increasing to 4 to 5 m by the end of the period.
VISI: Good to moderate.

Showers of rain or snow to the south.
