TRISTAN (30S/40SE, 00E/20W):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 15 in the north-west, otherwise S to SW 20
to 30 reaching 35 in the extreme north-east, but NW 20 to 30
in the south-west.
VIS : Good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the east, reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the central-
east spreading north, S to SW swell but 3.0 to 4.0m in the
south-west mainly W to SW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : Cyclonic 15 to 25 in the north-west reaching 30 to 40 in the
extreme north-west first half of the period, otherwise S to SE
15 to 25 becoming Cyclonic 20 to 30 in the south-east mid-
period reaching 35 to 45 second half of the period. It will
become SW 10 to 20 in the south-west spreading north antherwise E to SE.
