WIND : E to SE 15 to 25.
VIS : Moderate in showers.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but SW 05 to 15 in the extreme east.
VIS : Good.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 15 to 25 but S to SW 10 to 20 in the south-east first
half of the period reaching 25 to 30 in the extreme south-east
touching 35 towards end of the period but NE 10 to 20 in the
extreme south-west spreading north and east.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in the north otherwise good.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south-east reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the
extreme south-east towards the end of the period, S to SE
swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but NW to SW 05 to 15 in the south reaching
SW 15 to 25 in the extreme south-west spreading north and
east.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers in the south-west spreading east
and north.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south-west spreading east
and north reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the extreme south-west
towards the end of the first half of the period, but reaching
6.0 to 6.5m from the mid period of the second half, S to
SW swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40SE, 00E/20W):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 15 in the west, otherwise S to SW 20 to 30
reaching 35 in the extreme central-east spreading north, but
NW 20 to 30 in the south-west reaching 35 in the extreme
south-west first half of the period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the extreme south-
west towards the end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the east, reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the central-
east spreading north, S to SW swell but 3.0 to 4.0m in the
south-west mainly W to SW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : Cyclonic 15 to 25 in the east reaching 30 to 40 in the extreme
south-east, otherwise N to NW 10 to 20 but S to SW 20
to 30 in the west, reaching 35 to 45 in the central-west,
spreading north. It will become Cyclonic 15 to 25 over the
central northern parts.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain, but good over the central parts.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the south-east and west
but 6.5 to 7.5m in the south-east, S to SW swell
in the south-west, otherwise E to SE.
