ASCENSION (06S/15S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 15 to 25.
VIS : Moderate in showers.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but SW 05 to 15 in the extreme east.
VIS : Good but moderate in rain in the west.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : E to SE 15 to 25 but S to SW 10 to 20 in the south-east first
half of the period reaching 25 to 30 in the extreme south-east
towards the end of the first half of the period. It will become
NE 10 to 20 in the extreme south-west second half of the
period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in the north.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the extreme south-east, S to SE swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but SW 05 to 15 in the south-east and the
south-west reaching 20 to 25 at times. It will become S to SW
20 to 30 in the extreme south-west mid period of the first half
and spreading east and north.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers in the south-west spreading east
and north.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south-west from mid-period spreading east
and north reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in the extreme south-west, S to
SW swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40SE, 00E/20W):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 15 in the west, otherwise S to SW 15 to 25
reaching 30 to 35 in the extreme south-east spreading north
second half of the period. It will become NW 20 to 30 in the
extreme south-west towards the end of the first half of the
period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain in the north-
east at first.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the east, reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the south-
east, S to SW swell. It will become 3.0 to 4.0m in the south-
west from mid-period.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : Cyclonic 15 to 25 in the east reaching 30 to 40 in the extreme
south-east, otherwise N to NW 10 to 20 but S to SW 20
to 30, reaching 35 to 45 in places in the south-west spreading
north. It will become Cyclonic 15 to 25 over the central
northern parts towards the end of the second half of the
period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain, but good over the central parts.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the south but 6.5 to 7.5m
in the south-east, S to SW swell
in the south-west, otherwise E to SE.
