WIND : E to SE 15 to 25.
VIS : Good in the extreme east, otherwise moderate in showers.
ANGOLA (06S/15S, 00E/00N):
WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, but SW 10 to 20 in the extreme east.
VIS : Good, but poor in fog in the extreme east.
ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):
WIND : Variable 05 over the central parts, otherwise E to SE 15 to
25 but NW 10 to 20 in the south-east at first.
VIS : Good in the north-east, otherwise moderate in showers and
rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south-east at the end of the period,
SW swell.
TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):
WIND : N to NW 05 to 10 in the north-east, otherwise S to SE 15 to
25 becoming SW 30 in the south-west by mid-period.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers in the south-west spreading
towards the south-east by the end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the extreme south-west by mid-period, SW swell.
TRISTAN (30S/40SE, 00E/20W):
WIND : N to NW 15 to 25 in the extreme north-east at first, otherwise
S to SW 10 to 20 reaching 30 to 35 in the north-east. It will
become light and variable in the west by mid-period.
VIS : Moderate in showers and rain in places.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the north-east, SW swell.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : Variable 05 in the north-east, otherwise W to NW 15 to 25 but
S to SE 15 to 25 in the north-west spreading towards the
south-east while it reaches 35 in the south-east by the end of
the period. It will become SW 25 to 35 in the north-west
towards mid-period.
VIS : Good, but moderate to poor in the west spreading towards the
east by the end of the period.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the west, reaching 5.0 to 5.5m in the north-
west by the end of the period SW to W swell.
