TRISTAN (30S/40SE, 00E/20W):
WIND : N to NW 15 to 25 reaching 30 to 35 in places. It will become W
to SW 25 to 35 reaching 40 in places in the west spreading
eastward.
VIS : Good in the north-east at first, otherwise moderate in showers
and rain.
SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m SW swell in the west reaching 5.0 to 5.5m in
places in the extreme south.
CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):
WIND : Anti-cyclonic 10 to 20 reaching 25 to 30 in the north-east. It
will become N to NW 25 to 35 in the south-west from midday
reaching 40 in places.
VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the extreme south-
west from midday.
SEA STATE: 3.0m SW swell in the extreme north-east, but 3.0 to 4.0m SW
swell in the extreme south-west reaching 5.0 to 6.0m at the
end of the period.
